We are the company behind two flagship products:
•Skedler (skedler.com): The easiest, most flexible, and cost-efficient solution to automate reporting and data alerting from Grafana, Elasticsearch, and Kibana. Skedler helps DevOps, IT, and business teams schedule and deliver beautiful reports automatically – without writing a single line of code.
•BI Connector (biconnector.com): The simplest and most widely used Power BI-certified connector to visualize Oracle Analytics (OBIEE / OAC / OAS) data directly in Tableau and Power BI. BI Connector bridges legacy Oracle BI environments with modern visualization platforms, enabling teams to get more value from their existing data investments.
Our products help organizations to drive value to customers, automate operational visibility, and simplify data visualization.
This is a structured 6-month internship designed with one clear goal: to find and hire great engineers.
•Months 1–6 (Internship): You join as a Software Engineer Intern. You work on real product features, contribute to Skedler and BI Connector, and are mentored closely by our senior engineering team. You are evaluated on code quality, initiative, collaboration, and growth – not just on output.
•After 6 months: Interns who prove themselves are offered an immediate full-time role as Associate Software Engineer at Guidanz.
This is a ground floor opportunity to make your mark, build up your skills, and show the world what you are capable of.
You will be working on core technology components – analytics, data visualization, cloud, and ML/AI – of BI Connector. You will work with our software engineers to develop new features, enhance products, and troubleshoot customer issues. You will innovate and build cloud-scale, machine learning-based actionable analytics solutions.
•Product contributions: You have independently shipped at least two to three features or bug fixes across Skedler or BI Connector, with reducing supervision over time.
•Code quality: Your code passes peer review consistently and you have adopted the team’s standards for testing, documentation, and version control.
•Technical growth: You have deepened your knowledge of the team’s core stack (Java, JavaScript, AWS, Oracle) and can navigate the codebase confidently by month 3.
•Customer impact: At least one of your contributions has been acknowledged by a customer or measured by an improvement in product reliability or performance.
•Full-time readiness: By month 6, you are operating with the independence, quality bar, and communication habits of a junior full-time engineer – and we have already discussed your offer.
•Design, develop, and maintain features for Skedler and BI Connector products.
•Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following team best practices.
•Build and consume RESTful APIs; integrate with third-party platforms and data sources including Oracle, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Tableau, and Power BI.
•Participate in code reviews – both giving and receiving feedback constructively.
•Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and performance issues in production.
•Write unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability and prevent regressions.
•Attend sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives as an active contributor.
•Study the product deeply – understand how customers use Skedler and BI Connector and why.
•Stay current with emerging technologies in the analytics and data engineering space.
•Proactively suggest improvements to code, architecture, or process when you see an opportunity.
•B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
•2025 pass-outs are encouraged to apply.
•Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, JavaScript, or Python.
•Basic understanding of web technologies: HTML, CSS, and REST APIs.
•Familiarity with relational databases – SQL (MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle) or NoSQL.
•Exposure to version control using Git / GitHub.
•Awareness of cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) is a plus.
•Any prior exposure to BI or analytics tools – Grafana, Kibana, Tableau, Power BI – is a strong advantage.
•You are curious and self-driven. You do not wait to be told what to learn.
•You are comfortable with ambiguity. Our codebase is real and growing, not a textbook exercise.
•You communicate clearly and honestly – you raise blockers early rather than going silent.
•You hold yourself to a high standard and take pride in the quality of what you ship.
•You are a team player. You lift others and ask for help when you need it.
•You are looking for a short-term internship with no intention of joining full-time. This role is designed as a hiring pipeline, and we invest heavily in the people who join.
•You are uncomfortable working in a remote-only, async-first environment with a small team.
•You define engineering success primarily through learning frameworks rather than shipping working software.
•You need a large team structure, defined processes, and mature tooling to feel productive.
•Engineering Lead: India-based. Your primary mentor and technical guide throughout the internship. You will pair closely, do code reviews together, and have a structured 30-day, 60-day, and 90-day ramp-up plan.
•Senior Engineers: A small, senior team across India. Experienced engineers who are direct, pragmatic, and good at teaching by doing.
•Product & CEO: Bay Area-based. Accessible and involved. You will understand the product vision and customer context directly from leadership, not through layers of management.
•QA and Pre-Sales: India-based peers you will work closely with to ensure what you build actually works for customers.
•Salary + Performance-based compensation package for the internship period.
•Immediate full-time Associate Software Engineer offer at the end of 6 months for interns who prove themselves.

We hire deliberately. Our process is designed to be a mutual evaluation, not a one-sided exam.
•Round 1 (30 min): Initial conversation. Mutual fit, motivation, and broad background.
•Round 2 (60 min): Technical deep dive. We discuss your projects, your code, and how you think about problems.
•Round 3 (Take-home, 2–3 hours): A small engineering exercise based on a real scenario from our products. We care about your reasoning and your code quality, not just the output.
•Round 4 (45 min): Conversation with two senior engineers. Technical fit and team dynamics.
•Round 5 (30 min): Final conversation. References discussed. Internship offer terms reviewed.
We are bootstrapped. We pay a competitive internship stipend for India-based SaaS engineering roles at the fresher level. Interns who convert to full-time Associate Software Engineers receive a strong base salary with a clear increment path tied to performance and growth milestones.
If you join us, prove yourself in 6 months, and grow into a strong engineer, you will be compensated and recognized for it. We are aligned on outcomes.
We ask for four things, and two of them are short videos. There is a reason for that. A resume tells us what you have done. Watching you explain your own work for three minutes tells us how you think, which is what we actually hire on. It also means we can make a real decision early, rather than putting you through several rounds to get there.
